Due to Coronavirus concerns the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Filey Ringing Demonstrations due to be held in October. We look forward to welcoming you all to the Ringing & Migration Week in 2021.

FBOG’s seawatching hide and East Lea Reserve remain closed for the time being. Yorkshire Wildlife Trust hides at Filey Dams will be opening from Wednesday 7th July, with social distancing measures in place. Please respect these measures. It is with great sadness that we have to report that Peter Dunn, FBOG Chairman, passed away Friday 15th May after a short stay in Saint Catherine’s Hospice in Scarborough. Our thoughts are with his wife Kath and his family at this very sad time.
