A busy day at the Dams was headed up by a flyover Great Egret this morning, with other reports from there including an adult Mediterranean Gull, 100 Lapwings, three Black-tailed Godwits, the juvenile Whooper Swan and the Kingfisher. At the Dams, a Goosander and a Black-tailed Godwit joined the long-staying Kingfisher, up to eight Snow Buntings are in the carr Naze area, while on the sea, a Little Gull and a Grey Plover went south and limited wildfowl movements included 52 Teal and four Pochard. The male Velvet Scoter remained in the bay.

The Black Guillemot remained faithful to the south side of Carr Naze all day today, while four Snow Buntings frequented the latter, the Kingfisher was still at the Dams, while an Arctic and two Great Skuas were the best of a quiet sea.

A day of brisk north-easterlies brought a Black Guiillemot to the south side of the Brigg this afternoon – a just about annual visitor, Black Guillemots do sometimes stick around and the Brigg  / bay corner may hold the bird for a while. A male Snow Bunting came in and dropped onto Carr Naze briefly before heading south, while off the the Brigg, over a hundred Red-throated and a single Great Northern Diver were present or passing, an adult little Gull fed and then meandered north with Black-headed Gulls, five dark-bellied Brent Geese went south and single Goldeneye

A Bittern was seen briefly in the reedbed at the back of the Dams late morning, where there were also two Water Rails, a Jack Snipe and a Chiffchaff. Another Chiffchaff was a East Lea, while off the Brigg, four Little Gulls and a (the) Red-necked Grebe were feeding late on, and four Snow Buntings,

A quiet sea produced two Goldeneye among slim pickings today, with the Kingfisher still at the Dams. A quiet day today with a Mediterranean Gull and at least five Little Gulls feeding off Hunmanby Gap and two Barnacle Geese at Filey Fields Farm. Murky, mild conditions with south-easterly winds encouraged late autumn movements today, with incoming totals at Carr Naze including two Waxwings, 327 Blackbirds, 86 Fieldfares, 273 Redwings and 18 Song Thrushes, while passage over the sea included a Great Northern and 37 Red-throated Divers, 10 Dark-bellied Brent Geese, eight Gadwall, 140 Wigeon, 26 Little Gulls, a
