A probable Eastern Subalpine Warbler was mistnetted and ringed at Filey in the morning of 10th October. Caught and processed at the Old Tip, it was released on the south side of Arndale. Only available to a lucky few at the time of release, it was a great return for the many hours that the Ringing Team put in at Filey over the year. It was later seen early afternoon in a hedge in the Caravan Park. Our previous autumn Subalpine (unspecified) stuck around for a few days, so this may do the same. Here’s hoping!
